Natural Building Workshop

The workshop is presented by Luis Sabor, founder of Pure Mind Retreats located near San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Luis is an artist, musician, and traveler who is working to promote sustainable systems of living by teaching permaculture, natural building and renewable energy. Students in this workshop will work with cob (clay, sand and straw) to learn practical skills to build a structure with natural materials.
This workshop is appropriate for all ages. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult building partner. Please register by Friday, July 7, to ensure your spot. Class limited to 14 participants. Minimum 10 participants required for the class to be held.
This class will take place outside on the museum grounds--be prepared for summer heat! Participants should bring their own snacks and water.
