Victoria College's Empty Bowls event will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11 in the Victoria College Emerging Technology Complex. Attendees will be able to select a unique hand-made bowl for $20. Each purchase includes soup, bread, and drink donated by area restaurants and caterers.
This collaborative, community effort is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers, ceramic students, potters, restaurants, and chefs.
Activities and a silent auction will also be available. Proceeds go to support the agencies in Victoria whose mission is to fight hunger: Food Bank of the Golden Crescent, Christ’s Kitchen, Victoria Christian Assistance Ministry (VCAM), and Victoria County Senior Citizen Center, as well as the Victoria College Visual Arts Scholarship.
Donations of over $250 are acknowledged on placemats used during the event and are included in advertising & social media. Make a donation today! Tickets for the event are only available at the door.
