A renowned paleontologist with severe dyslexia, Jack Horner spent seven years studying geology and paleontology at the University of Montana without earning a degree. Despite this, he has received four honorary doctorates and has published over 320 works, including popular books. Horner has held positions at Princeton University and Montana State University, where he chaired numerous graduate students and served as the technical advisor for the Jurassic Park film franchise. He has received numerous awards, including a MacArthur Fellowship and the Romer-Simpson Medal. After retiring from Montana State in 2016, Horner became a Presidential Fellow at Chapman University in California where he currently resides.
