The public is invited to join the Museum of the Coastal Bend for the Texas Independence Day Book Festival 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Museum of the Coastal Bend and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Victoria College Library on Saturday, March 2.
We’re celebrating Texas authors! Join us for a day of literary events including book signings, individual book sales, and literary discussion. Featured author readings include Charles Alcorn, author & former UHV professor; Cheryl Johnson, author & photographer; d.j. Rangel, essayist, writer of short stories, & novels; Amy Reid, author & archaeologist; and the event will end with our keynote speaker Louise O’Connor, ranching family historian and author.
